About the Job
The hero of the film, Paul is a recovering drug addict on a mission to secure a job and housing for his girlfriend and their soon-to-be-born baby. Things gets more complicated when Paul’s mother — the villainous mayor Los Angeles — distributes a batch of radioactive methamphetamine to the LA homeless population, causing its users to mutate, become violent and explode. We are seeking an actor that is good-looking enough to make sense as the boyfriend of our beautiful, (exceptionally talented) 21-year-old leading lady, while still looking like he could prevail in a fist fight. We have received plenty of applications from the Scott Eastwoods of the world; this film needs Clint Eastwood. Tattoos are encouraged. This role requires tremendous acting skill, as Paul experiences complex, conflicting emotions, alternates being tough and vulnerable, and ultimately undergoes a profound inner transformation over the course of his large amount of screen time.
